Goal
Helping the UK Startup to enter the lettings market with a DIY app that can significantly improve the lettings process by connecting applicants to the Landlords directly.
The Problem
The new changes in the rental sector and increasing service costs by letting agencies were concerning the landlords and tenants in letting industry in the UK. More transparency from the letting agent in this competitive renting market was getting more and more difficult to achieve. Startup, Rentr Ltd. came up with an idea to develop a direct, more secure and transparent app for the growing market of landlords and many applicants who are looking for a good property with less of the applied charges that are named as viewing fees, booking fees or contract fees.
The Solution
This app was expected to allow the users to manage the tenancy cycle more privately, starting from marketing the property to viewings, tenancy checks, referencing, signing of the agreements to reporting and managing of maintenance issues and repairs, and the notification of payments and keeping of accounts. With all the experience of PropTech Industry, our team was contracted to deliver both iOS and Android versions of the mobile app experience, and then to work on and deliver a web app to deliver this DIY app which is fully featured and still a private property management app. This app has made processes easy for landlords who want to manage their own property(ies) and for tenants who can find and rent a property without any agency fees.
The Result
This app is already catering to thousands of applicants. Not only does it help the client but it has added more value to us as an organization. Propiti has performed the full cycle of engineering from the architecture, development, designing, and testing. The use of popular framework – Angular and Ionic have made the application quick and straightforward.
